Breakfast with the Bunnies

Indy and Spot got up early to meet some special friends for breakfast... they had breakfast with the Marsh Bunnies of Sea Island. These bunnies know all the best early morning places to visit on the island. There is so much wildlife to see early in the day... the birds, the fish,  river otters and deer just to name a few.  Indy and Spot were told that when it comes to wildlife, "What goes on at Sea Island, stays at Sea Island"... or wait, is that Vegas????

Indy and Spot are currently on a trip at one of their favorite destinations...

They have a good friend "Basher" who lives on the island on .....what else... 

"Tabby Lane" (a.k.a. 12th Street).

This morning, they decided to take the nature walk to check out the local bird population. I am sure their intentions are for "research" purposes only - 

...yeah, right!

Indy and Spot at Chastain Park

 Indy and Spot recently took in an outdoor concert at the fabulous
Chastain Park amplitheatre. They went to see the rock band "Procol Harum". This band was actually named after a Siamese cat that belonged to one of their friends.

Indy and Spot wonder if they could get a rock band named after them someday???

Indy and Spot take time out from "prowling" in the garden to listen to a bluebird sing -  They seem to be behaving themselves.....  at least for now..

Indy loves to experiment in her garden. She planted some bulbs and is seeing the results of her work. I hope she is not growing anything illegal.... like unregulated catnip!

Indy and Spot check out the Pink Flowers

Indy and Spot enjoy a moment investigating a pot of pink flowers. When everything looks so tired from the summer heat, they are looking to spruce up their garden... and attract some more birds perhaps???

Thinking of getting a makeover for the upcoming Fall fashion season, Indy and Spot visit the world famous "Salon de Chat"... I'm guessing the fashion police are gonna have to call for backup if this goes down without some real purr-fessional help.

The Catnap

After a long day at the koi pond, Indy and Spot decide they are in dire need of a catnap - of course they are on the softest down comforter ever, and the sheets have a thread count of at least 1000!!! These two know where the best spots are! ... but doesn't every cat always find the best spot in the house???

Indy and Spot and the Purple Flowers...

After visiting Indy's secret Art Garden, Spot decided to bring Indy some Purple Flowers - her favorite!

(They must taste delicious since it appears Indy and Spot have begun to chew on them.) Why do cats like to do that???? Another mystery to solve about our feline friends....

Indy and Spot visit her Art Garden

Indy decided to bring Spot to one of her favorite places - her Art Garden. This is where Indy comes to dream and create her art. Spot thinks it's pretty cool, and wonders if she ever uses her tail as a paint brush????

Indy and Spot celebrate what?????.....

Indy and Spot are celebrating something called "National Catnip Apprcciation Month. ( I am suspicious... they probably just made this up.) Indy munches some local organic catnip she says she "found" at the farmer's market... Spot says they are just doing "research" so they can post their findings on their blog.

Somedays, any excuse for catnip and a nap will do. Gotta watch these two.....

Back from their 4th of July "vacay", Indy and Spot goof off at The Botannical Gardens... I think they are really looking for birds because they said they wanted someone to teach them how to "tweet"...

Indy and Spot cool off with a frozen "Pina Cat-lada"

Loving to try new things (mostly food related), Indy and Spot beat the heat today with a new type of  frozen beverage. They love anything that involves cream and a blender (go figure...)

Indy and Spot make a new "Golden" friend

Indy and Spot have met a new friend... a Golden Retriever named "Rose". Rose lives with a fabulous piano teacher (Miss Arleen). and Rose loves to "accompany"(howl) when Miss Arleen plays the piano.
Rose NEVER gets into any mischief... neither do the kitties.... yeah, right!

Indy and Spot were visiting the park, and were introduced to a new friend... a King Snake!

Indy and Spot enjoy a glass of a fine "Cat"-burnet Sauvignon... Yum!

Today, Indy and Spot are visiting some friends who have a small vinyard in France. They are sampling a new type of wine... and seem to be purring loudly about it. I am sure a nap will ensue shortly.

Chillin' in the Blue Catnip Garden

It'so-o-o hot today, and what better place to take a break than in the beautiful, magical "Blue Catnip Garden". (It's like visiting the Botannical Gardens... and it's "Happy Hour" all day long for kitties.) It's definately on Indy and Spot's list of favorite places to visit again and again!

Indy and Spot visit the Moon

We aren't really sure exactly where they came from (outer space perhaps?), but welcome to the world of 2 fun lovin' cats... Indy (the glamorous orange girl) and Spot (the adventureous, handsome black boy).  Here is some background on how their adventures started:
